Privacy
Short version: the game keeps your progress on your own device, nobody is tracking you across the web, and there are no ads and never will be. The rest of this page is the detail, in plain words.
What stays on your device
Grimoku saves a few things in your browser's local storage so the game works at all: the board you have in progress and its timer, your streak, your practice records, the language you picked, the theme and board size you chose, and whether you have seen the tutorial.
None of it is sent anywhere. There is no account, and we could not look at your streak if we wanted to. Clearing this site's data in your browser erases all of it, and starts you from zero.
What the server sees
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, they receive your IP address in order to send you the page, and keep short-lived logs for security and abuse handling. This is how the web works rather than a choice we made.
How we count visits
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people play and which pages they arrive on. No cookie, and nothing written to your device, so there is nothing here for you to consent to and no banner to dismiss. It cannot follow you to other sites, and it builds no profile of you.
The small script that reports a page view comes from Cloudflare, who already serve you this site and already see your request. That is why we were willing to add it. No new company learns that you were here.
Whether people come back
A daily puzzle only works if people come back, so that gets counted too. It is the one thing the visit counter above cannot tell us. When your browser asks the server for today's board, the server notes two things: today's date, and a scrambled code that stands in for the network you arrived from. Nothing else goes with it. Not your address, not which puzzle, not the time, not your browser.
The code is made by mixing your network with a secret that only the server holds, then keeping a short piece of the result. Read that database and you see the code, never the address. Everyone in your house or your office shares one code, so what this really counts is networks rather than people. Good enough for the question, useless for anything else.
Nothing is stored on your device to do this, which is why there is still no banner here for you to dismiss. Rows are deleted after 45 days. The point is to know whether a free game is worth carrying on with. Legally, that interest is what it rests on. If you would rather not be counted at all, write to the address below and say so.
If you write to us
The feedback link opens your own mail app with a message already filled in. Before you send it you can read every line and delete anything you would rather keep, which is exactly why it is filled in visibly instead of collected quietly. It carries which board you were on, whether it was finished, your language, the app version, your screen size and your browser's identification string. That is enough to reproduce a bug and nothing more.
Mail sent to that address is forwarded to a personal mailbox and kept until it stops being useful. Replying to you is the only thing it is used for.
What we do not do
- No advertising, now or later. It is a deliberate product decision, not an oversight.
- No selling or sharing of your data with anyone.
- No advertising pixels and no social buttons. Nothing here follows you off this site.
- Fonts, images and the game itself all come from this domain. One thing does not: the analytics script named above, which Cloudflare serves. The return counter needs nothing loaded at all, since it happens on the server.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what is held about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to it being processed. In practice there is very little to ask about, since almost nothing leaves your device. Write to the address below and you will get an answer.
If you are unhappy with the response you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD.

En corto: el juego guarda tu progreso en tu propio dispositivo, nadie te sigue por la web, y no hay publicidad ni la habrá. El resto de la página es el detalle, en lenguaje normal.
Qué se queda en tu dispositivo
Grimoku guarda unas cuantas cosas en el almacenamiento local de tu navegador, porque sin ellas el juego no funciona: el tablero que tienes a medias y su cronómetro, tu racha, tus registros de práctica, el idioma que elegiste, el tema y el tamaño de tablero que prefieres, y si ya has visto el tutorial.
Nada de eso se envía a ningún sitio. No hay cuentas, y aunque quisiéramos no podríamos ver tu racha. Si borras los datos de este sitio en tu navegador, todo eso desaparece y empiezas de cero.
Qué ve el servidor
El sitio está alojado en Cloudflare. Como cualquier alojamiento web, recibe tu dirección IP para poder enviarte la página, y guarda registros breves por seguridad y abuso. Es así como funciona la web, no una decisión nuestra.
Cómo contamos las visitas
Usamos Cloudflare Web Analytics para saber cuánta gente juega y por qué páginas entra. Ni cookies, ni nada escrito en tu dispositivo, así que aquí no hay nada que consentir ni ningún aviso que cerrar. No puede seguirte a otras webs, y no construye ningún perfil tuyo.
El pequeño script que avisa de la visita viene de Cloudflare, que ya te está sirviendo este sitio y ya ve tu petición. Por eso aceptamos ponerlo. No entra en juego ninguna empresa que no estuviera ya.
Si la gente vuelve
Un puzle diario solo funciona si la gente vuelve, así que eso también se cuenta. Es lo único que el contador de visitas de arriba no puede decirnos. Cuando tu navegador le pide al servidor el tablero de hoy, el servidor anota dos cosas: la fecha de hoy y un código revuelto que representa la red desde la que has entrado. No le acompaña nada más. Ni tu dirección, ni qué tablero, ni la hora, ni tu navegador.
Ese código sale de mezclar tu red con un secreto que solo tiene el servidor y quedarse con un trozo del resultado. Quien lea esa base de datos ve el código, nunca la dirección. Toda tu casa o toda tu oficina comparten un mismo código, así que lo que se cuenta en realidad son redes y no personas. Suficiente para la pregunta, inútil para cualquier otra cosa.
Para esto no se guarda nada en tu dispositivo, y por eso aquí sigue sin haber ningún aviso que tengas que cerrar. Las filas se borran a los 45 días. Sirve para saber si merece la pena seguir sacando adelante un juego gratuito. Legalmente se apoya en ese interés. Si prefieres que no te contemos, escribe a la dirección de abajo y lo dices.
Si nos escribes
El enlace de opinión abre tu aplicación de correo con un mensaje ya escrito. Antes de enviarlo puedes leer cada línea y borrar lo que prefieras no mandar, y por eso va escrito a la vista en lugar de recogerse en silencio. Lleva en qué tablero estabas, si lo habías terminado, tu idioma, la versión de la aplicación, el tamaño de tu pantalla y la cadena de identificación de tu navegador. Con eso se reproduce un fallo, y no da para más.
El correo que llega a esa dirección se reenvía a un buzón personal y se conserva mientras siga sirviendo para algo. Solo se usa para responderte.
Lo que no hacemos
- Sin publicidad, ni ahora ni después. Es una decisión de producto, no un descuido.
- No vendemos ni cedemos tus datos a nadie.
- Sin píxeles publicitarios y sin botones de redes sociales. Nada de esto te sigue fuera del sitio.
- Las fuentes, las imágenes y el propio juego salen de este dominio. Una cosa no: el script de analítica que se menciona arriba, que sirve Cloudflare. El contador de regreso no carga nada, porque ocurre en el servidor.
Tus derechos
El RGPD te permite preguntar qué datos hay sobre ti, pedir que se corrijan o se borren, u oponerte a su tratamiento. En la práctica hay muy poco que preguntar, porque casi nada sale de tu dispositivo. Escribe a la dirección de abajo y tendrás respuesta.
Si la respuesta no te convence, puedes reclamar ante la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

Cambios
Si esta página cambia en algo que importe, cambia la fecha de arriba y el cambio se cuenta aquí, no se cuela sin más.
10 de agosto de 2026: el sitio se abrió a todo el mundo, así que desapareció el apartado que describía la prueba cerrada. Lo que se recoge no cambió con ello.
